With a focus on vision health, the Sheardown Lab is invested in engineering novel solutions to treat a breadth of ocular pathologies.
Our expertise lies in contact lenses, targeted drug delivery, preclinical modeling, and polymer chemistry, with an emphasis on commercialization.

Funding Support
STEM Education
The C20/20 Innovation Hub scientists and trainees are available to support virtual
education sessions for students ranging from preschool to high school.
Our content can include experiments with household items, formal lectures and chat
sessions. “Ask a Scientist” and “Ask an Engineer” have been very popular with high
school students considering their post-secondary choices.
